Charles D. Tuck

Charles D. Tuck, 79, unexpectedly passed away July 28, 2025. He was born in Akron, Ohio to the late Martin and Mary Tuck. Charlie was preceded in death by his brothers, Tom, Martin, Ronnie Dean, Don, and former wife, Mary. He is survived by sister, Alice; former wife, Karen; and children.

Charles was blessed with eight children - Gennie, Terri, Theresa, Charlie, David, Ryan, Morgan, and Karlie - who he lovingly referred to by the number of their birth order rather than a name. He had numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren whom he adored, and a host of neighborhood kids who he thought of as his own.

Charles graduated from Garfield High School in 1964 and was a self-employed master bricklayer for most of his life. He enjoyed throwing darts and bowling, participating in several area leagues. Hunting, bird watching and coin-collecting were also on his list of past times. But his favorite thing to do was spend time with all his family and friends - playing board games, leading a Boy Scout troop, camping in Canada, or just being goofy and silly.

Cremation has taken place. Join us for Donuts with Dad, a celebration of his life, on Saturday, October 18th, 10:30 am, at the Firestone Park Community Center, 1480 Girard Street in Akron. All are welcome to attend and share their favorite memories.
