Charles Edward Zittle, 71, of Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully on 1/31/22 due to medical complications. Charley was a unique and quiet man who loved cars, sightseeing, Coca-Cola, and his dog, Buddy. Charley was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Juanita; sister, Marilyn; brothers, Jack and Frank. He is survived by his sons Charley (Angie) and Jason (Nicole) Zittle; grandchildren, Brittany (Shay) Sharp, Kelsey, CJ (fiancé Juli), Noah and Jordyn Zittle; great grandchildren, Lucas, Landon and Avery Sharp; great nephew, Mike Sacy. Thank you to special lifelong friends Wanda and Joe for their love and support. In honor of Charley's wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service, on 2/8/22 at Lakeview Lighthouse Church (1065 Kubler Trail, Akron, Ohio 44312) 6:30pm-8pm.

Charley also had other grandkids staci Steven Sarah Sean Seth Chris Brandon shepherd and Doug and Samuel Kennedy they all loved him .we will never forget you charley and forever miss you .

Charley was like a dad to us he married my mother Laura zittle and she had 8 of us already he was my best friend all of us .he was kind and understanding we will forever miss you charley rest in peace charley I will always be grateful for your kindness and understanding love you zittle
