Charlotte Elaine "Lady Bug" Baty, 56, of Alma, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born May 16, 1959 in Van Buren to the late Odell and Ruby Patterson. She was first and foremost a mom, and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley and Verlon Patterson.

She is survived by a daughter, Catina Faubus and husband Tim of Springdale; two sons, Randall and Chalin Jordan both of Van Buren; five sisters, Shirley Maez and husband Dave of Arizona, Patricia McCarver of Van Buren, Faye Patterson of Fort Smith, Diane Sheridan of Fort Smith, and Bonnie Patterson of Alma; two brothers, Charles Patterson of Ozark, and Terry Patterson and wife Glenda of Mountainburg; thirteen grandchildren; and her best friend, Ray Davis.

A family-hosted memorial service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 326 Shibley Road in Van Buren.

Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Mom,
I don't even have words to express how heartbroken I am without you. You were always there for me when I needed you. It didn't matter when or what you were doing, ypu would listen. I am lost without you! I'm doing my best to do things you would want. I love and miss you so much!!
