Chris,
I remember your enthusiasm for life and I envied you. I wanted so much to create something prolific, that would spark people's memories of you, but your death has left me...speechless. I am sorry that you are gone. And I am sorry that your children had to bury a parent so young. I hope everyone who has the best of memories of you never forgets them. A candle burns for you. See you in the afterlife.

Dear Briggs Family- My sincerest condolences and thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I was both sad and shocked to recently hear the news about the passing of Chris. Chris and I first met and worked together at AirTouch Cellular in the mid 90's. Through the many times we spent together during those days, I cannot ever remember a time there wasn’t a smile on his face. His laugh and smile always cheered me up no matter how my day was going. Chris was a great individual who cared deeply about his family and friends. I have some many fun and memorable experiences of those times spent with Chris I will never forget and always carry with me in my heart and mind. Randy Skaja

A sad day in my life, Chris was a brother to me. He helped mold me into the man I am today. Growing up with out a brother and having him date my sister most guys would have shooed me away, Chris accepted me and allowed me to tang along where ever. I remember listening to music in his car running to the store for mom, or the trips to Nebraska to see his parents, learning to dance at Phillies Night club, or just hanging out. Chris always asked if I wanted to go with. Chris also helped break down barriers in our community. At the time Lakeville did not have many African Americans and Chris was sometimes looked upon differently, but Chris being Chris he just kept smiling and knew people would change. I did, and I thank You for that. Kelly and Tracey you both were blessed to have had such a wonderful person as a brother I will miss him dearly. Danon and Maxwell, I have never met you, but want you to know that your father was an outstanding man. He touched the hearts and lives of many people and always left them smiling. God Bless you all and I will pray for you and Chris. GOD BLESS MY FRIEND AND THANK YOU. Jason R. Clark (Lakeville, MN) Now Redmond, OR

To Chris` family,

I am profoundly sorry for your loss, I know how much Chris loved and cherished you all. I feel very fortunate to have been able to work closely with Chris for many years allowing me to get to feel his passion for life and all of those around him. Words cannot accurately describe how much I will miss him. Chris had a way of lighting up any room that he entered with his boundless enthusiasm amd his infectious smile. I am confident that where ever his spirit is now, those around him are a little better and a little happier because of his presence.

Hey " big brother" I will always keep your memory in my heart.

To Chris' Family,

Chris was a wonderful and caring person. He was passionate in everything he did. Chris' passion is what helped me decided to relocate from Seattle to Minnesota. He showed so much love not because I was a coworker but because that was who he was. Please know that your family is in my prayers and that we were all blessed to have had Chris in our lives!

To The Briggs Family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Chris was such an upbeat man, you could just tell that his positivity was so contagious. I remember back in the spring when he came to eat lunch with Maxwell for our classroom pizza party and it was a few weeks after his diagnoses. Everyone was very concerned. Chris stated, "Ms. Jeanna, I am going to try my best to fight this." And day by day, when I saw him on the days he picked up Maxwell, he kept his head up, didn't give up and fought as hard as he could. I was inspired by his positivity. I feel blessed to have gotten to know the Briggs Family.
