Christina Palukonis Obituary

Christina Archibald Palukonis, 46, of Walton, N.Y., formerly of Scranton and Carbondale, died Friday evening at home.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of Jean Roberta Barr Davis, Scranton, and the late Raymond Archibald, she was educated in Lakeland public schools and was a graduate of Lakeland High School.

Christina was a beautiful and wonderful person, dedicated to making people happy and always putting others before herself. She always had great love, especially for her dogs, Cuddles and Buttercup. There was nothing Christina couldn't do. She was our everything and will always be our angel.

Also surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Palukonis and Nicole Palukonis, both of Scranton; two grandchildren, Jada Caple and Lucas Archibald; her fiance, Travis Merrill, Walton, N.Y.; five sisters, Karen and husband, Ron King, Pittston; Tricia Thomas, Scranton; Tammy and husband, Edward Brent, Scranton; Mitzi Finkler, Scranton; and Betty Hricenak and fiance, Paul Petrilak, Greenfield Township; two brothers, Mickey Archibald, Jermyn; and Arthur Toms, Scranton; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

The funeral will be Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave., with Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in St. John the Baptist Church, 520 Sanderson St., Throop, to be celebrated by the Rev. Mark Honhart. Interment, Welch Cemetery, Union Dale.

Friends may call today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

to my loving sister even through i didnt get to spend alot off time with her in her final years on earth. but she brought me back with my son SEAN &family and also bring my daughter back home to me and grandkids.i hope to meet her again in heaven.
