Aged 66 years.
Much loved mother of Matthew (dec), Sam, Julia, Beth and Barney. Loved Aunty to the Vidal and Kanaef families.
Family and friends are invited to Celebrate Chris's Life at the Richmond Chapel, Parkview Funeral Home, 43 Holland Street, Goonellabah on FRIDAY (April 28th, 2017) commencing at 2.00 pm.

Aunty, I miss you so so very much. Still can't believe my aunty, but more importantly my friend isn't here. My biggest fan always 100% behind me with encouragement to exceed in anything I did. I miss the dogs, your laugh and your big big hugs. I could always rely on you for a good laugh. I'll never ever forget ourour many special moments together. I'll never meet another person like you. I'm still picking roses for you!! Hope their giving you plenty up there. Miss you so much aunty I love you xx your niece

12 months has passed, gone but never forgotten and forever missed as a true friend an confidante. Worked with and around you for many years.... You were exceptionally bright, generous, warm and kind. A person true to their beliefs who loved people and animals alike, one who would go the extra distance to bring joy to those around them. Rip mate, your Priscilla and Ruben remain close!

Goodbye old friend. I knew you for many years as a clever, compassionate and dedicated nurse and one of the nicest human beings I have ever known. You were my first mentor and remained a trusted and valued friend until the end. I do miss you.

Oh I am so saddened by this beautiful ladies passing. Whenever I was struggling she was always there to offer me encouragement and loyalty. I feel blessed to have had her in my life and will remember all the laughs and tears we had when saving our precious wildlife. An animal lover who adored and was adored by her dogs. She was an inspiration to me because she was fearless when defending the things that really mattered. I extend my deepest sympathy to her family.

Just found out about Chris Borthistle's death.
So sad. I remember driving out with Chris and Beth to Booyong to help clock up Beth's driving miles...Gentle, funny lady. So sorry things were so difficult at the finish
