AGE: 80 • Sewell
Christine H. Libertella (nee Coskey), on March 18, 2014, of Sewell, formerly of Glendora. Age 80. Beloved wife of 62 years of Charles. Devoted mother of Donna Matthews (Fred), Marianne Massi (Ray), Diane (Chris Barnes), Lisa Clifford, Teresa Fitzgerald (Bob), Tina Morrison (Mark) and Carla Fine (Chris). Loving grandmother of Kristin, Jessica, Samantha, CJ, Alexandra, Bobby, Shain, Roman, Ilia, Kendyl and Christopher. Great grandmother of Carter. Dear sister of Jean Johnson, Patricia Davis (Al) and the late Margaret Cavallaro, Jack, Edward, and Frank Coskey. Chris was a member and past president of St. Teresa Altar and Rosary Society and co-founded the St. Teresa Senior Citizens Club. She was also a coach for St. Teresa School Volleyball Team. She was a Girl Scout Leader and a co-founder and coach of GGAL. Chris was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Crafty Ladies and a resident and member of Parke Place Active Adult Community. Chris loved family gatherings and celebrations. She enjoyed her trips to Ocean City, the Pocono Mountains, and Florida. There will be a visitation from 4 to 8pm Friday eve and 8 to 9am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 10am Saturday at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church, Runnemede. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing. Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Chris' memory to Holy Child Altar and Rosary Society, 13 E. Evesham Rd., Runnemede, NJ 08078 or to Samaritan Hospice, 175 Madison Ave., Mt. Holly, NJ 08060. Family and friends may share memories at www.gardnerfuneralhome.com.

Dear Charlie, Daughters & Family.
My heart grieves for your loss. Chris was such a caring,gentle, loving lady. She was the founder and "queen mother of our Red Hat Society. She served for some years as the leader and co-chair of our entertainment committee. Chris was a very dedicated friend She will really be missed.

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was quite a lady! I remember her beautiful sparking eyes when she spoke to you. She was my Girl Scout leader as a child and a constant face at St. Teresa's. I am certain she rests in the company of the God she served all her life. Take care!!

What a special mom and wife you had. So many childhood memories for me. She always had tastycake Krimpets for us, gravy for Mr. Libertella and an encouraging word for me. She helped to keep me on the straight and narrow for fear of disappointing her. You are missed and in my prayers.

Uncle Charlie and all the girls, my fondest memories are the best Christmas Eve's I will ever have, we did it for 38 years and they were the best 38 all the commotion with 13 girls, well they were the best and I wish to this day that we could have still done it with our children and grandchildren being involved in our tradition which started in 1955. My Dad and Uncle Charlie did some crazy stuff when they got a hold of that homemade wine. Mommy and Aunt Chris are together once again. My prayers are with you all and she is in good company with God and family who've gone before her.

My name is JoAnne Trainor and I went to St. Teresa's School with Marianne in first and second grade. I read this notice and I am amazed at how much I remember about this family from so long ago. Mrs. Libertella was always so kind to me and I thought she was so beautiful! I had brothers and always wanted all the sisters Marianne had! I remember coming to your house and never wanting to leave - I still remember where your house was!
