Born on October 22, 1939, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Victoria (Wierzbicki) Hanson. Her husband, Robert Schell, passed away on May 2, 2014. They had been married for 35 years.
Christine was a longtime employee of the YMCA, Reading, working in the housekeeping department. She had also worked for 16 years for Talbot Knitting Mills, Reading.
She was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Ivy Club, Reading. She also enjoyed bowling and skating.
Christine attended Holy Guardian Angels School, Northeast Middle School and graduated from Reading High School.
Christine is survived by her daughter, Kelly A. Ream, Reading; her grandchildren: Carlos V. Pacheco Jr., Papo Vega-Pacheco, Maria Pacheco, Cesilio Pacheco and Kristen Pacheco. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Antoinette Hellman, Pottstown.
In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her grandson, Anthony Pacheco; her sister, Mary Miller; and her brothers, Roy and Joseph Hanson.
Funeral Services for Christine will be held at a later date.

So sorry to hear of Chris's passing. She will be added to my prayers. My sister, who looks at the Reading Obits, found it and told me. It's been many, many years but I thought often of you all.
