Man Chris me and sugar miss you dearly, I miss your gentle smile and your laugh that made my day. I always looked for you on Fridays at the market, in which I was a dealer that was grateful to have been labeled as his sister and brother from another mother . When I use to pull up I jump out the truck and call his name and he would say baby girl what's happening with a smile and hug. Chris you may be gone but will never be forgotten, fly high mydear angel.

Chris,
Where do I start?
Only 10 years of knowing you and wasnt near long enough. 10 years of seeing the true definition of love between you and my sister. 10 years of seeing how compassionate you were about your work and your love for your family. What do I say? Nothing any of us can type up will ever do justice to the man you are. But here I am..trying...
It is an honor to be your SISTER. You have been here and witnessed many ups and downs throughout my life, and you never judged. You would simply tell me what I deserved in life and to never settle.
Every Saturday morning youd wake up at the crack of dawn and off to the little Cordele Walmart you went to just browse but would always come home with some off the wall gadgets for your boys and CJ, youd also go to every dang place that offered breakfast and bring home breakfast for everyone..there would be chicken biscuits from Chick-fil-A, McGriddles from McDonalds, Burger King biscuits, pork chop biscuits, etc. You simply never wanted to see any of us go hungry and would give you the last dollar in his pocket if needed.
The love you have for my sister is unconditional..the love I always wanted. If anyone knew court it was you. shes small but spit ball of fire and you knew how to handle her. You never let her or the boys go without and always put them before yourself. You were the best father to the boys and still are. Parker has talked a lot about you, and although you already know this Wednesday night in the hotel bathroom we looked up and talked to you. I told him your always with him and you love to hear him talk to you, and last night he looked at court when watching fireworks and said I bet daddy has the best seat up there watching them.. Court is pushing through this hard time one day at a time and I am so proud of her as I know you are. I will never understand why you had to go. The world needs you. Someone kind, loving, nonjudgmental, funny, someone easy to love.
Please keep sending us signs like you have lately. We love you so much. And miss you more than anyone can imagine. Aunt Bean will take care of your girl and the boys, and I will make sure your name is always honored the way it should be.

I regretfully didn't get the chance to know Chris on a deep personal level like many others. But, have spent the last year watching him coach my little man Hunter Drelick. He was always chill and kind to people and never seemed to be angry for anything. All the pictures I ever seen of him he was smilling. In the final memory I have of Chris was at his son Porter's birthday party and he just turned 3 yrs old. He was surrounded by all of his friends and family. There was smiles and stories about good ol times for days. He was walking around with a beer and a lolly pop. I got the honor to get to know Chris a little better that day to where I was the last one to leave when I could hardly see because it was so dark outside. Some of the last words I can still hear Chris's voice say is "were just good ol' country folk" (his words). He was telling me about good ol times he had and planning future good times I was dearly looking forward to having with Chris. I shook his hand and gave him a bro hug before was all left that night and he said "yall are welcome to come over anytime"! I will never forget Chris and neither will anyone else! Rest In Peace my Friend in the Kingdom of God till next time we can have another beer together and talk about those good ol' times again. Sincerely Justin, kayla, Hunter, & Annalyse Drelick.

My best friend, my brother. I will miss you. I will forever watch over your boys as I know you would mine. We have a lot of good memories(wild times) lol. When the boys get older I'll share some of our stories. I'll always think of you while I'm hunting or riding river ranch, and I've also started telling Wilder about you and he just sits quietly and listens like he knows his uncle. I love you my brother till we meet again.

You will be missed tremendously by a lot of people on the Market. I will miss you always giving me a hard time on the Market. Always saying look theres Debbie the manager of the market the whole market. Giving me a hard time about taking the forklift classes. And when I would get on to you about something you would always look down and say yes Debbie. R.I.P Chris until we see each other again.
