GILBERT, Mr. Christopher Daniel Wayne-age 24, of Flint, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, January 12, 2022 with a 1:30pm family hour at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507. Calling hours are 1:00pm - 6:00pm Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Christopher Daniel Wayne Gilbert was born January 13, 1997 in Flint, Michigan the son of Tracie L. Richardson and Matthew S. Gilbert. He was a lifelong resident of Flint and attended Flint area schools including, Potter Elementary, Southwestern Academy and Atherton High School. After graduation, Christopher attended Eastern Michigan University. He enjoyed anime and geography and sports, especially football, baseball and track. In his spare time, he liked to work out. Christopher was stubborn but was kind and loving.

Richardson both of Flint, MI; 17 brothers, Matthew, Mikey, Kyle, Bret, Tony, Shane, Tyrec, Adam, Antonio, Danny, Austin, Jeff, Timbo, Cody, Mikal, Brandon and JJ; 4 sisters, Rachel, Courtney, Makayla and Taylor; 3 step-sisters, Breona, Bethany, Kailee; grandparents, Larry Gibson of Durand, MI, Daniel Gilbert of Flint, MI, Edward Owens of Flint, MI, Linda Gibson of Durand, MI, Nancy Fitsco, Gilbert Owens of Flint, MI; 4 nephews, Haydin, Isaiah, Malakai, Malano; 3 nieces, Elle, Ridley, Ahmari; uncles, John, Gary, Joesph, Daniel Gilbert and Larry Gibson; aunt, Trisha Gibson Elrod; 3 great uncles, Jeff Dove, Michael Carrell, Jack Dove; 3 great-aunts, Karrie Drendall, Marcia Dove, Susan Trent; 6 cousins, Meredith Gilbert, Grant Skinner, Heater Skinner, Elijah Elrod, Jonathon Elrod and Alexandria Elrod; a host of other relatives and friends, including: Kimme Draper, April Brown, Brianna Rak, Michael Arcand, Mirihai Montgomery, Darlene Svinarich, Stefanie Giffel, Jordan Bair, Molly Easley and many more.
Mr. Christopher Gilbert was preceded in death by: Linda Gibson, Jack Dove and Daniel Gilbert.
