BYFIELD — Christopher E Haynes, 36, of Byfield died Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., from injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident.
Christopher was born in Danvers, Nov. 22, 1972, son of Robert J. and Sheila (Fitzgerald) Haynes of Byfield. A member of Teamsters Local 25, he was employed as a truck driver for the Dow Co. of Dracut. He was a graduate of Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School in Haverhill.
In addition to his parents Christopher is survived by a son, Tyler C. Haynes of Newburyport; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Timothy and Robyn Haynes of Salisbury and Patrick and Robin Haynes of Haverhill; and his loving girlfriend, Dorothy Jo DeLong of North Hampton, N.H.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass will be offered Monday, March 9, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Andover Street, Georgetown. Burial will be in South Byfield Cemetery, Georgetown. Calling hours will be Sunday, 4 to 8 p.m. in the F.S. Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent St., Rowley. The family would like donations in lieu of flowers to Freedom Fire Dept., P.O.
