CHRISTOPHER "CHRIS" M.
Age 49, of Ambridge, formerly of Washington, passed away on April 15, 2018, after a battle with a short illness. Born on December 28, 1968, he was the beloved son of Judith and Kenneth Lovejoy and was the light of their life. Adored nephew of Edmond Lovejoy, Robert Schwartz, and Lois Chartier, and Terriann Lovejoy; cherished cousin of John Schwartz, Melissa Butler, and Hannah Lovejoy. He was preceded in death by his uncles, Ronald and Phillip Lovejoy; and his godmother, JoAnne Lovejoy. Chris enjoyed biking in his free time for recreation. He also enjoyed target shooting. He will be remembered as a devoted son and faithful friend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Hospital of UPMC, 4401 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224, 412-692-5325. Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at CREMATION &FUNERAL CARE, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church at 10 a.m. with Father Carmen D'Amico, officiating. Interment will be private.
