Christopher Earl Murphy, 36, of Germanton, NC formerly of Princeton died Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Born June 19, 1985 in Princeton he was the son of Scott Smith and Melissa A. Murphy Smith of Bluefield, WV. Chris was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Erica Murphy and Keri Smith; and maternal grandparents, James Roscoe and Lillie Mae Murphy. In addition to his parents he is survived by his children, Shawn Murphy, Brooke Murphy, and Christian Murphy all of Germanton, NC; brothers, Eddie Inscore of Princeton and E.W. Inscore of North Carolina; Aunt, April Murphy of Princeton and her daughter, Hannah; Uncle Warren Murphy and his children, Roger Murphy, Alex Murphy, Brittany Murphy and her son, Donquale Gray; special grandparents, Joan Boles and Wade Boles (Papa); nieces and nephews, Emoni Murphy, Tanaya Smith, Malik Robinson, Jaylan Robinson, Adrian Robinson, Elijah Smith, Treyvon Smith, Brentley Inscore, and Sagan Inscore. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Wade Boles as Eulogist. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the service hour on Thursday. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to practice social distancing and to wear a mask for your safety and the safety of others.
