I am very sad to learn the loss of Chris. Even worse, I am out of town for work and unable to attend his services. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. I love you all...Tanya Jernigan Mareno (with Rex, Jr., Jake, Tyrone, Judy, Royal, Lawrence, U. Robert and A. Karen)

I remember you standing on the towboat at ACBL many, many years ago. I still see that smile. I remember when Jordan was born, another big smile. Now you are with God, the biggest smile. God Bless you Chris...Paula Bordelon Maples

My baby brother:
Ten years was not enough time to say goodbye. It was not enough to let you know how much we loved you. I hope you knew how much you meant to all of us. You are no longer in pain, and your suffering has ended - I am thankful for that. I am fortunate to have been your big sister, and will always cherish the lifetime of memories that we shared. You were always so full of mischief and humor, all the way to the end. We sometimes fought, as most families do, but we were always there to stand by each other through difficult times. I only hope you truly knew of the undying love that your family feels for you, and that we will miss you always. We love you deeply, Chris.
