Campbell - Clair B. Bulkley Sr., age 63 of Campbell NY, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021. He was born on August 17, 1957 in Urbana, New York the son of the late Edwin O. Bulkley and Geraldine Saxton.
He worked as a fabricator and welder for 36 years at Mercury Aircraft. He also volunteered as a IHS medical driver. Clair was very active in AA and was a member with 29 years of sobriety. He was a giving person, with an open door policy. He took great pride in his family and the time he was able to spend with them.
He had a love for music, especially playing the guitar. He was known far and wide being a part of many local bands and DJ'ed for many years. Clair enjoyed waterfalls, picnics, motorcycle riding, demolition derby and of course, telling stories.
Clair is survived by 3 children: Stacy (Michael) Ogden of Campbell, Clair (Kim) Bulkley Jr. of Savona, Heather (Michael) Reed of Campbell; grandchildren: Michael Ogden, Kimberly Ogden, Tyler Vogt Sr., Tionna Vogt, Taylor Burleson, Cherrakee Bulkley, Cheyanne Bulkley, Madison Loyless, Mason Conklin; 12 great grandchildren; brothers: Edwin (Phylis) Bulkley, Harold (Deborah) Bulkley, Lynwood (Sharon) Bulkley, Rodney (Barb) Bulkley; sisters: Cheryl Thomas, Geraldine (Patrick) Dobson, Marlene (Robert) Stopka, Charlene Sanford, Brenda (Dan) Sargent, Carlene (Jeff) Stone, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Clair was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Gardiner Bulkley; brother, Earl Bulkley; sister, Karen Bulkley.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 4:00pm-6:00pm with a funeral service immediately following with Pastor Claudia Browning officiating. All Covid-19 regulations will be followed.
