Of Glenshaw, age 77, on Tuesday, March 13, 2007. Beloved husband of Joan (Eglberger) Rihn; loving father of Christine (Russel) Keller, Jeffrey (Julia) Rihn and John "Jack" (Kelly) Rihn; dear Pap of Kathryn and David Keller, Andrew, Nathan and Hilary Rihn, Megan and Alyssa Rihn; brother of Leo J. Rihn, Mary Lou Costello, Caroline Stiehler, Patricia Grguras and the late Bernard, Gerald, Louis and Anthony Rihn, Catherine Kruth, Virginia Winschel and Rita Benko; also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD. 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bonaventure Church, Glenshaw on Saturday at 10am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Bonaventure Church Development Fund.

Dear Joan
I'm so sorry to hear about your husbands death. I was in Pgh. to bury my brother on the 12th of March. I didn't read the newspaper and we returned to Florida on the 15th. You have my deepest sympathy.

I knew Clair for many years through Elfinwild V.F.C..To me he was always someone who listened to what I had to say whether he agreed or not ,he always listenedI never heard him say no when asked if he could help with something.I always counted him as a friend that I could talk to or get advice from.He will be missed by everyone.

to the family of clair: i was one of the nurses at mercy hospital who had taken care of clair. i worked the midnight shifts, either i started at 7 pm or 11 pm. i felt a strong sense of closeness to clair. it brought such joy to me when he was awake and would talk as i am sure it brought you much joy as well. i will always remember clair as a patient, he had truely touched my heart.
