Colby Craig Obituary
He was founder and partner, with his dad, in B&C Construction, LLC in Flatonia.
Colby moved his construction business to the sky on September 28, 2013. His skills and expertise were required in Heaven, and since the good Lord only works with the best, Colby was the obvious man for the job. His presence on earth will truly be missed, but his kind spirit and warm smile will live on in the memories of those who were blessed to know him.
Colby is survived by his parents, Lisa and Blake Craig of Flatonia; sister, Cierra Danielle Craig of Flatonia; maternal grandparents, Patricia Slater of Luling, George and Terri Evans of Lockhart; paternal grandparents, Bea and Allen Krejci of Shiner; Aunts and Uncles, Wendy & Doyle Allen, Linda & Paul Wayne Beale, Diana & Elton Goodall, Brian & Sonja Craig, Loyd Wayne & Cathy Craig, Derek & Dana Evans, and Brandon Evans; scores of cousin; and friends too numerous to name or count.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Loyd Craig.
Visitation will start at 8:00 am Tuesday, October 1st, at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia. Funeral services will be held at Flatonia Baptist Church, Wednesday, October 2nd at 10:00 am, with Pastor Tim Rowell officiating.
Pallbearers will be, Zane Ponder, Evan Butcher, Clay Branecky, Colin Kocurek, Colby Mica, Cole Robbins, Jose Cedillo, Adam Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Derek Evans, Derek Evans Jr., Dillon Evans, Brandon Evans, Wes Armenta, Red Mulholland, Mike Kocurek, Jody Chambers, Lane Alaniz, Jonathan Gonzales, Mike Garcia, Ronnie Steinhauser, and Kevin Steinhauser.

Met Colby less than a month ago when he did a job for us and I was so pleased and impressed by his friendliness, professionalism and great job that he did. I was also impressed with his knowledge of what he did, he was an excellent contractor and we all just loved him like family and only knew him a short time! The family should be proud and we pray for comfort and healing! May God bless the family today and always!
