Constance Dawn Tyree Tomlin, 67, of Madison Heights passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Archie Walter Tomlin, Sr. Born April 3, 1951, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Lester Tyree and the late Sarah Brooks Abbott.

Connie was a retired nurse, and a member of Living Water Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, Connie was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Tyree.

Connie is survived by her children, A.W. Tomlin, Jr. (Micki) of Gladys, Leslie Tomlin-Wright (David) of Madison Heights and John Tomlin (Christy) of Madison Heights; one sister, Wanda Milton of Amherst; and she was "MeMe" to her grandchildren, Joshua Tomlin and (Tiffany), Joseph Tomlin, Christopher Tomlin and Jackson Grabowski. She is also survived by her aunt, Virginia Goff and her cousin, Garnett Goff; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Daryl Donald officiating. Interment will follow at Briarwood Memorial Gardens in Amherst.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
