Constance M. Dearth BROCKTON Constance M. (Coots) Dearth, 78 years, of Brockton, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John T. Dearth. Connie had been a lifelong resident of Brockton and was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Blanchard) Coots. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and had been employed by Mullare News Agency of Brockton for over 20 years. Connie was an avid reader and candlepin bowler and also enjoyed playing bingo, family gatherings and vacations. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Dearth and his wife Karen, Jacqueline Landry and her husband Thomas, Kathleen Dearth-Wilcox and her husband Craig and John T. Dearth Jr.; six grandchildren, Shawn and Brian Dearth, Kristin Issler, Caitlyn and Timothy Landry and Brianna Dearth; one great-grandchild, Kylie Dearth; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Ralph Coots, Barbara Sampson, Robert Coots and Sandra Thibeault. Funeral service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Saturday, at 10 a.m. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Donations in memory of Connie may be made to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451. We're so sorry for your loss. Connie was a sweet lady. We'll miss bumping into her at Caffrey Towers and Lobster Hut! I'll always remember her on the day (very rainy) of Caitie's BU graduation, jumping across puddles and being such a trooper!
