The world lost a beautiful soul. Cora was like a second mother to me, as well as a great friend. She was an example of never giving up. Cora had a lot of physical problems, but didn't let them stop her enjoying life. She was always ready to go anywhere and loved getting out to listen to music. She especially loved Crawdaddys Restaurant on Sunday nights when the band played and had open mic night. Another favorite was listening to bands downtown Visalia in the summer. She always got here ahead of me and brought me a cushion for my chair! She was a great hostess and made 10 times more food than we could ever eat. When I moved out of state, she had a room for me to stay in and shopped for all the food I like. After I moved, we spoke weekly on the phone, always for an hour at a time. So much to discuss! She had two wonderful daughters who doted on her, and cousins who had large family gatherings for holidays. I will miss her so much, and look forward to the day I get to see her again. I love you Cora.
