Corey James Davis

Las Vegas

On September 20, 2013 our Daddy who is the strongest man we know, returned home to our Heavenly Father after sustaining an on the job electrocution that resulted in anoxic brain injury almost five years ago. Corey was born April 2nd, 1982 in Cedar City, Utah to Harmon James Davis Jr. and June Excell Devito.

He loved being a Dad and he was good at it! Hobbies included dirt bike riding, camping, horses, fishing, and tinkering on things such as auto/motorcycle mechanics and anything hands on. Our daddy loved the outdoors and enjoyed people; he had many friends and it did not matter who you were or where you came from.

Daughter Ryllee Nicolle Davis- "Dad, you are my hero and my heart breaks to lose you. But I know you are holding my hand every step of the way…. See you later Daddy, I love you!

Son Jessie James Donovan- "I love you Dad, I miss you…. forever".

Corey, we hope you're having the best reunion with Aunt Charmain Averett Excell, Cousin Travis Ricky Excell, Grandpa Demont Excell, Grandma Wildeane Langston Excell and Cousin Michon (Stratton) Paddock. And we know they cheered you on as you received your well-earned wings!

Corey lived life to the fullest so, Please join us for a celebration of love in his name. Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Springdale Community Center 126 Lion Blvd. Springdale, Utah 84767 at 3:30 pm.

In addition, there will be a "Tree of Life" planted in Corey's name in Hurricane and a Monument in "Honor Of" Corey located on Kolob Mountain for all those who would like to visit from time to time.
