Courtney B. Kramer (nee McGowan) 39, of North Ridgeville, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 10, 2021, at Cleveland Clinic, Avon. Courtney was strong and tough, she bravely battled cancer and gave it Hell since 2017. Courtney was born on June 29, 1982, to her parents, Edward McGowan and Kathleen Krause. She was raised in Berea and graduated from Berea High School in 2000. She was last employed by Republic in Oberlin, as a Scale House Operator. Courtney enjoyed being outdoors, she liked tedious yard work and she was meticulous. She was at her best after vacuuming her home and seeing the stripes in her carpet. She liked things tidy and harassed anyone who made a mess. She was a No-Nonsense-Woman and was a natural born BOSS. Her family will desperately miss her complaining to them about the work that they need to do and how they did it wrong the first time. She leaves her beloved husband of 7 years, Fred Kramer; her devoted parents, Edward McGowan and Kathleen Krause (Bill); her dear sister Tiffany Letso (Bill); her loving niece and nephew, Hailey and Liam; her BFF, Andrea Paulas; and her cousin and best friend Holly Kirk. She was predeceased by her cherished companion and Best Dog Ever, Niko. Memorial donations are suggested to The American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, 44106; or donate3.cancer.org A Celebration of Life will be held for Courtney at a later date.
