1953 - 2013
It is with incredible sadness that the family of Dale Roy Yurchuk announce his sudden and unexpected passing on August 31, 2013. Dale will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, Sandra; his children Shane, Joseph, and Crystal; grandchildren Alexandra, Brooklyn, Joshua, and Seth; as well as everyone who knew him. Dale was an amazing, selfless man who lived his entire life devoted to his family. He was incredibly proud of his title as "World's Greatest Husband, Dad & Papa." There will be a visitation for family and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Mourning Glory Funeral Services (1201 8th St. East) and a Liturgy of the Word Service will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at St. Mary's Parish (211 Avenue O South). Dale, I can't believe that a whole year has gone by. I still have a terrible ache in my heart and feel as though something is missing in my life and I know it is you. I never got the chance to tell you what a great brother you were. We had so much fun together when we were kids. There wasn't anything we wouldn't do. I'll be thinking of you on the 31st not believing that a year has gone by. I'm lighting this candle for you Dale and your family. I believe you are sleeping peacefully in heaven with Mom & Dad. Wishing you a Happy 60th Birthday Dale today. How I wish you were still here to celebrate with us. We all went to the cemetery today as a family and it was nice to all get together. We sang "happy birthday" to you. How I miss you dear brother. Say hi to Mom & Dad, they'll be celebrating with you. I know you'll always be with me in my heart. Love you always, your sister Dana.

I have such fond memories of my brother Dale. It was such a shock when I got the news. I keep thinking of him these past days and all the fun we had growing up. He had a great sense of humor and a wonderful circle of school friends. I remember the baseball games behind the Sanitorium, the hockey & shinney games at the King George School rink. Hide & go seek, knock down ginger and raiding gardens. What fun we had! Wayne & I will miss you so very much. Rest in peace my dear brother, until we meet again. Take good care of him Mom & Dad.
