Danielle Siegel Obituary
Danielle Siegel, age 47, of Marco Island formerly of Dublin, OH, passed from this life unexpectedly on Thursday, July 5, 2018. Born March 16, 1971 in Columbus, OH to Joe and Lucy Hannan. Danielle was raised in Upper Arlington Ohio where she graduated High School in 1989. Danielle met the love of her life in 1996 when she met Rick Siegel and later married in 2003. After meeting Rick, Danielle immediately took an interest in Dentistry where Rick trained her for nine months and she later became his office manager in Columbus, Ohio. Danielle was a lover of life, she enjoyed camping, boating, fishing. Her love for the water included water skiing on Pleasant Hill Lake and a love for dolphins which she encountered every day in her own back yard. She had a special place in her heart for her dogs Baxter, Ollie and Bailey. Danielle enjoyed her annual vacations to Aruba where they traveled for 7 years prior to discovering Marco Island. Danielle and Rick quickly realized that Marco Island was the place they wanted to live and open their business. They set out on a plan. Rick retook his entire Dental Board Exam and obtained his Florida license. This would be the first step in their new journey to Marco Island. The two sold their dental practice in Columbus, OH and opened their new dental office on Marco Island in Nov. 2016. The reward couldn't have been greater for Danielle. Patients loved her vibrant personality and heartwarming smile. She had a natural ability to light up a room. Danielle is survived by her loving husband Rick Siegel; parents Joe and Lucy Hannan; sister Teresa Hoyt; mother-in-law and father-in-law Richard and Barb Siegel. She is preceded in death by her identical twin sister Michelle Elmhurst in 2016.
A Celebration of Life and Gathering of Friends will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 2:00-3:30 PM at CJ'S on the Bay located at 740 N. Collier Blvd. #105, Marco Island, FL 34145.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Danielle may be made to Southeastern Guide Dogs 4210 77th Street East, Palmetto, FL 34221.

Rick and family I just found out about the passing of Danielle . Robin and I come to Florida in our motorcoach for 6 years now and stay around Bradenton area . Iam so sorry and I think about youall looking at pictures of us lives at the lake and so forth. Byron my oldest lives in St Pete and his mom Peg and husband lives in Madiero Beach . We still live in Killbuck but don’t have lake or boat no more. I wish you the best and my heart hurts reading this. I had a wonderful time with you both and someday maybe drive down that way. Dear Rick: It is extremely hard to express in Words how upset and shocked we were since being notified of Danielle's passing. We will always remember the great times we shared with you both. Our trip to SnowShoe Mountain, enduring 24" of snow, and swimming in your beautiful pool. Those are memories that will last a life time!
