My wife~ A real love story. Hard times to good times we stayed together. We learned each other's boundaries. We had hurts & misunderstandings but we always loved each other. We always looked to God for strength. She was my friend. My lover. She helped me grow to the man I am, however, she and I would want people to know a good marriage can be great but it takes working with each other and understanding each others needs. Don't let little fights in troubled times split your marriage. You never know how much you've got until you lose it and Darlene was a great loss. I know we will be together again because once best friends, always best friends. She cared so much for me, her family and her friends. There is so much more I could add to this about my beloved wife. Fun times and hard times we knew we had each other. We knew each others thoughts. At times when we were driving one of us would say something and the other would say "that's exactly what I was thinking"!
Thank you Darlene for my beautiful family and the beautiful life we had together. I'll see you again soon.

Darlene was one of my best girlfriends throughout our school years at Tushka, Oklahoma. We grew up together in the 60's and 70's and were at each other's homes on many, many occasions. We shared laughter and we shared tears. What a beautiful soul she was. My heart goes out to each one of her family and we pray for peace for such a great loss. May God be near you in your grief and comfort you as only He can do. I love you Dart, always have, and we will meet again one day and walk the streets of glory, praising God, and talk of new things.

Darlene, you were an inspiration in high school. You were so calm and collected in the way you handled adversity. Thank you for being part of my life.

Darlene ,,what a gentle spirit... The pictures of her and Curt ,, they were a beautiful couple.. I've always admired Curts role as a husband , father and provider...They loved and together raised a beautiful family ...It takes a long time to heal , the comfort of knowing where her eternity is..She went home to her Savior ....
She will have all the seats saved for her love ones ..... I'm so sorry ,, your family , Darlene have been in my thoughts and prayers... with respect..

I have a big hole in my heart knowing I can not call you or stop by to see you. I have comfort knowing you are where you wanted to be. We shared so much over the years...Secrets, giggles, belly laughs, our first taste of alcohol. You were always my inspiration. From the time I can remember, my big sister was always there for me. When we were young, you would hold my hand crossing the street. We grew up together, worked together, lived together a couple of times. So many memories. I am so glad we got to say "see you later" and "I love you." You were an amazing person and sister. Until we meet again......We fired our guns and the British kept a coming, there wasn't quite as many as there was a while ago...

I taught Home Economics at Tushka High School, 1973-78. Darlene was one of my favorite students during this time. She was a hard-working young lady that completed what she started and helped others along the way. She told me one year she wanted to make a coat. She did it!! She made a beautiful purple velvet floor-length coat/cape. She looked so tall and regal in it!!! I think EVERY ONE loved her! I do regret that I didn't "keep up with her" after I left teaching. She was the finest young lady I have ever known...beautiful inside and out.

Darlene is this beautiful butterfly, that can make you feel at peace and the beauty around her. She was a humble and remarkable woman of God!
