David Bertram Obituary
Passed away suddenly at Peter Lougheed Centre following a short illness on July 30, 2011. Dave was born in Calgary on January 20, 1955 at Holy Cross Hospital. He was the son of Margaret and the late George Bertram and is survived by his brothers Ron and Jim. He was predeceased by his brother Rob and his grandparents Dr. Charles and Helen Greene of Innisfail and Olive Bertram of Calgary. He is survived by Doris and Monty Annear, and by Ian Greene and Eilonwy Morgan. Also by his cousins Christina, Philip and Girum. Dave grew up in Calgary on Comanche Road N.W. and graduated from William Aberhart High School. He enjoyed his career as a long haul trucker and most recently was employed by New Way Trucking. A private family memorial service will be held. His ashes will be taken to Sylvan Lake where he spent many happy family gatherings. The family would like to acknowledge the kindness and professionalism of the staff on Unit 38 at the Peter Lougheed Centre. Should you wish to remember Dave, donations may be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
