My condolences to David's familiy. I have a fond memory of a person that took the time to help others. David helped launch my post-navy career by inviting me to present at VTS 92 and sponsoring my membership in the Company of Master Mariners in 1991.

As a very young girl I remember how excited we got when uncle David came to Vancouver on one of his ports of call. Also when they moved to BC,was wonderful. When you think of David , kind, thoughtful great host, considerate, great conversationalist. The best person for happy hour. He always seemed to love life but first Auntie Thelma

With the passing of David a large chapter of the Company of Master Mariners of Canada also comes to a close as he gave many years of devoted service to us. He will be missed.
My thoughts are with Thelma and family.
