David Wolfe Chapman

Dr. David W. Chapman, MD passed away October 1, 2024 after a brief illness. He was loved by everyone and served tirelessly during his professional career as a Physician in Independence Missouri and Bradenton Florida. He (and his family) served two years as a Naval doctor during the Vietnam War (Lieutenant Commander- Philippine Islands; Clark AFB, Cavite City, Sangley Point). He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 20 years, Constance Lee Chapman (Adkins/McBride); she passed peacefully in her sleep on March 12, 1976. They are survived by 5 children, Scott (Annette), Becky Pearson (Rex), Mark (Robin), Dale (Linda), and Ryan (Mandy); 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. In 1976 he married another love in his life, Jacquelyn Marie Willis (returned to our Lord December 30, 2023) and her children Becky Willis Shantz, Daniel Willis, Debbie Willis, and Kathy Willis Dawn (also with our Lord since 2007); 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. David's wonderful parents were Samuel Ezra Chapman and Florence Chapman of Independence, MO. He is survived by his loving (lovely) sister Nancy Hall (TP) and has now rejoined his awesome brothers Zale (Carole) and Robert (Sharon) deep in the forests of heaven.
