David was a man of great faith. I knew him as truly and consistently kind, loving and gentle. He is my uncle. He literally put a bible in my hands (a grad gift). Our foundation is in Christ. Upon that foundation many of us are blessed to have or know a handful of people who are pillars of strength to admire and look up to. David is and will remain so to me. He is a shining example of genuine godliness, humility and lovingkindess. God richly blessed David by allowing him to be a blessing to others. He was a servant to his Lord. I (we) shall rather enjoy spending a great deal of time with him again soon. David was a vessel.

David was a great friend and helper during my pastorate at New Beginnings Church.
He truly operated in the spiritual girt of encouragement.
Many times he would tell me how great a job I did, when I didn´t feel it was so. He had a smile that would convince me that he meant it.
We will see you soon and very soon brother.

As his youngest sister, I always remember him as kind and loving. His smile would always warm my heart and my soul. I am so grateful to have had him as my elder brother.

I feel privileged to have known David. He had a special, deep smile-just like in this picture-and he smiled all the time. David was a great communicator and a natural icebreaker. He always went to others to say hi, never missing an opportunity to encourage them.

I remember during the harvest celebration at NBC in 2013, he did Tights Bowling. I think he did it just to make everyone laugh and have a good time at church. I've attached that picture here.

It´s easy to get lost in a crowd, even of just a handful of people, but not when David was around. He made sure to greet everyone, one by one, making them feel welcomed. I´m going to miss his smile until I see him again in glory.

I knew David for 60 years. There is one word that I feel describes David; kindness. He, as well as his dad, Edward, were two of the kindest people I have known. David was always a pastor at heart, and he will be missed by many. I so look forward to being reunited with David in the future.
