David "DJ" Hardy, Jr. was born in Omaha, Jan 21, 1991 to VeNessa Strong-Hardy and David Hardy Sr. DJ was known as "Goofie" to many people which perfectly explained his ultimate personality. He was an amazing soul that brought light with him everywhere he went. He had an infectious smile with an incredibly optimistic attitude. His life tragically ended on January 23, 2021 by a motor vehicle accident.
He is survived by his grandma, Tina Wood (David); parents, David Hardy Sr. (Donniel) and VeNessa Strong-Hardy (Bill); sisters, Anisa Strong, Ketia Kellogg and DaVine Hardy; brother, Davell Hardy; 4 nephews, 3 nieces, many aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, Feb. 6th, 3pm, with VISITATION from 1-3pm, Roeder Mortuary - Ames Chapel. Repass: Grass Wagon, 6pm.

There is not enough room on this page to write all the good things about DJ. I can still see his smile tight now...making me smile : ). Never saw him without one along with a great hug that he didn't know I needed. Everytime I ran into him, he always had such positive energy to share. He was always doing somethings he loved to do Just an awesome spirit in one package.
I hope his family and friends finds comfort in all the smiles and memories he left for us to enjoy. He left plenty.
Rest in peace DJ ... Love and Miss YouGone to soon but wings accepted wings

I just keep thinking about him and how much fun we had as kids. DJ´s big personality always smiling, laughing, and joking around. People like DJ are rare and I´m thankful to have been able to cross paths in this lifetime.

I'm saddened to hear this news him and my daughter n nieces grew up together n I use to have to go chase them outta the kick it spot and he was always the one saying ok Mom we sorry we going to be good. I will always remember him being very respectful no matter what situation I caught them in. He will be greatly missed.
