I remember when I met Dave in English class at Anaheim High School.
We sat next to each other and had so much fun and laughs during class and became life long friends. We hung out alot and even ditched a couple of classes together. Since the first time I knew Dave , until the last time that I saw him, his smile and friendship was always warm and welcoming. When he married Leanne, we had so much fun at their wedding (looking at the video later was embarrassing) and when the birth of the girls came, we all thought the Lujan girls softball team was gonna start because it seemed that every year another girl was being born. All of which were (still are) so cute and tiny, some of the tiniest girls you ever saw!
Seeing them all at family functions, Dave was always helpful with cooking and barbequeing, which he did well!! Most things he said, he learned from his mom.
One thing that will always come to mind when thinking of Dave , is that he loved fishing and you can always picture him standing next to the grill with a beer, a "Smile" and a pony tail. He loved any opportunity to get in a photo and stand next to those that he loved. I laugh thinking back on the days when Dave used to have his little beat up red pick up, all beat up and paint worn, that it looked more orange than red. Those were the "Good ole' Days" hanging out in Anaheim, Ca.
Dave will surely be missed, but his life lives on, through his 4 beautiful daughters and in all the hearts and memories of those that love him.
May the Lord be with all during this difficult time and in the days and years to come.
May Dave's spirit and memeries live on, as we continue to gain healing from his life and how he touched ours.
The bible says, that even though "tears may flow in the night, joy always comes in the morning!"
My Love to all...
