David Thomas Roberts

David Thomas, 44, went to his eternal home on June 9, 2025 in Mechanicsville, VA after a long battle with health issues. He was born August 22, 1980, in Boulder, Colorado and graduated from Atlee High School in 1999. He also had an Associates degree from J Sargent Reynolds Community College in construction management. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Roberts. He is survived by his loving son, Grayson Roberts and loving daughter, London Roberts, sister, Katie Roberts and father, David Roberts, along with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many dear friends. David worked in management for the HVAC industry for many decades. He was proud to have served on the King William Fire Department for three years. David loved playing music and used his talents and passion to express his faith in Jesus through serving on the Fairmount Christian Church praise team and at the Salem Presbyterian Church. His commitment to lifting others up through music also encouraged his sister to join the team. He also loved making extraordinary works of art, working with metal, and many of his displays still hang on the walls at the Fairmount Christian Church. His art will forever be cherished and serve as a reminder of his beautiful and creative mind. David's passions also included fishing, hunting and cooking. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Services will be held at Fairmount Christian Church, Mechanicsville, VA 23111 on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 2:30.
