DAVID SCHNEIDER Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Dec. 19 to Dec. 21, 2010.

David Frank Schneider passed away with his family at his side, on December 15, 2010 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, as a member of the Army, with honorable discharge as PFC. He returned to Kennewick and worked in several carpentry jobs, obtaining his Carpenters Union Local 306 card, and quickly progressed to Journeyman. He was also a Job Foreman at Hanford. Dave also served on the Carpenter's Union Board for several years. Dave enjoyed helping others and provided many hours of service to his friends and his beloved church. He had an incredible knack for locating bargains, be they at auctions, yard sales, or anywhere there was a good deal to be made.

Family was very important to David and he would help any one of them whenever he could. He is survived by his wife Rusheda, his children David Frank Jr. (Kim), James, Cory, Melinda (Andrew), Patrick and 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. His nieces and nephews are numerous, as well as his extended family. He loved them all very much. Siblings include Mike (Mary), Bonnie Bates (John), Bill (Beth). He was preceded in death by his parents David and Emma.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the VFW Hall, 1369 George Washington Way, Richland, WA. at 12:00 noon. Please come and celebrate David's life with the family.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to David's very favorite charity - the Holiday Helping Hands at the In-Step Church, 201512 East Finley Road, Kennewick, WA.

To David's extended family,
I am sorry I won't be able to attend the service but please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers. I remember when David choked up at Emma's funeral service when he tried to talk about his mom. It was obvious he was a loving son. Take comfort knowing he is with her now.
