My dearest friends Eve and MohindraRandom search of Facebook found this sadly unwelcome news of the loss of your beloved grandson, David, that the tyranny of distance precluded my meeting and knowing him. What is there to say? Bountiful affectionate and sorrowful greetings. Jean from Canberra.

My deepest sympathy to David's family, very fond memories of time spent together in rehearsals and performances with Savoy Opera productions, a respected musician and conductor and a fine young man, may you rest in peace, Geoff Carison.
