Elaine, and family. Our hearts break for your loss. We have so many fond memories of Dave.... just looking at his smiling face on this website floods our hearts with affection for you both, and our eyes with tears. We could not have had better neighbors than you two for the 15 years we lived 2 doors from you there on Oxford Avenue. Dave was a gentleman and a friend - always true to himself. We genuinely loved him. Our sincerest sympathy, Patti and Skip McCarty Stevenson

We are thinking about you, Elaine, and Craig and Jon. The years have passed so quickly and hold so many happy memories, Sycamore Gables, camping, travels, weddings and friendships. Although Dave is no longer with us, he will be remembered forever in our hearts.

Dave.. My great friend. You introduced me to golf and built my clubs in your basement. We shared a love of fishing, hunting and Boy Scout trips. You made a great difference in a lot of people's lives. Peace be with you, friend.

From just a few of David Jacksonville Illinois High school friends. We are truly saddened about the loss of our friend and classmate and Great football teammate. Quiet, business like and the number one tackler on our undefeated football team. Good Bye old friend, until we meet again.
We are sorry that we have to send this message.
