Charlotte, Karla & Greg,,,,,,,
So sorry to hear of David's passing. Death is something we are never ready to accept of our loved ones, but something we all must deal with when time comes. It will be 5 years tomorrow, 2/17/08, since we lost our Mother, David's sister, and not a day goes by I don't think of her, and her sweet smiling face. You too will have all of these wonderful memories of your husband & dad. Memories are the only thing that can't be taken away. I know David left you with many. Take care and know that you are definately in our thoughts.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this very difficult time!! David will be greatly missed! He was a wonderful man and always kept us laughing at the WellCare Center!! I adored him and "Sweet Charlotte"! My grandparents Alton and Lois Nicholson also thought the world of him!

Greg,
Having lost both may parents I know how tough it is. Death is a part of life. It just happens to be something
that is difficult to prepare for. All of us are different, and because of that no two people grieve the same. While grieving is normal, so is healing and it is comforting to know that while many may be grieving today, healing from the grief will follow.
From talking to you it sounds like your father touched the lives of many people. Having said that, it is obvious that people are not paying tribute to your father because he died. They are doing so because he lived and he obviously enriched many of the lives of those who knew him.
I eulogized my own father 10 years ago and closed with a poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye. The poem is called Do Not Stand by my Grave and Weep.
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.
Yes Greg, your father has been called to his final home, and while he may no longer be with the family in the flesh
he will be forever with you in his spirit.
The Campbell Family is thinking about you and praying for the strength of your family during this difficult time.

David was such a special person. I was always impressed how he boosted others, how he wanted them to be uplifted. I only knew him briefly but was totally in awe and apprciation of him. Kind regards, Doris Gallaher
