I am just finding out this devastating news. I worked with Deanna at Smith Barney. Deanna was a wonderful friend, a fun playmate and a generous, caring soul. I cherish the memories I have of our adventures together. I will miss her stories and laughter. Hugs to her sweet daughters, Bruce and her family.

I have such fond memories of Deanna from East High School and our years running track. She was such a bright, charming, caring and genuine person. I will always remember her smile, it was contagious! Deanna was one of the most beautiful gals I knew, inside and out. God Speed Deanna.

No bond is as great as that between a mother and daughter. Words cannot express how much your mother loved you girls. You lost her way to soon. An eternity with a parent is not enough. Our sincere condolences and loving thoughts are with you now.

We were all so blessed by your gift of life. Hugs and heartfelt prayers for strength to your family. You made me a better person and I'll cherish our junior high and high school memories. I will forever remember those days of summer working at the baseball stadium. And driving that orange Fiesta. What a hoot!

With a very heavy heart we are sending you our condolence, deference, empathy, thoughts and prayers. It is still not enough to ease your loss and separation. We have an immortal part of us which will live forever. All our lives are a transitory existence here on earth on our way to our eternal home. With the trumpet sound on resurrection morning we will be reunited in eternity. Ours for a little while with Jesus forever. We will miss our good life long friend until then.

Our family was together this weekend and noticed the sad news of Deanna's death. Our sympathy and prayers are sent your way. The Martins were an important part of the Sowers Ele. School family here in Wichita. We all remember Melanie, Deanna and Alaina- beautiful little girls with wonderful parents! She definitely was taken much too soon. May God be especially close during this time of loss and give you His peace.

I have so many good memories of Deanna, who was my very best friend in 8th grade. We shared a love of horses and enjoyed many rides together. This is such terrible, terrible news. My heart goes out to her daughters and family. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

We meet on horse back...we became fast friends...we picked each other to be our sister...my life was richer for knowing her. And it will never be the same without her. The last time I saw her a few days before she past away...we hugged and told each other that we loved each other so much. God has a wonderful person up there in heaven....and I hope he has some mighty good horses for her. I loved her and will miss her so...
