Debra 'Debbie' Meyer, age 70, of McHenry, went to be with her Angel Kelly on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 7, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Leonard and Marilyn (Jordan) Giurlani. Debbie married the love of her life John Meyer on June 22, 2000.
Debbie and John spent many days enjoying the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. She loved her Beatles music, and most importantly she loved her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years John Meyer, her daughters: Jordan DiBlasi, Tina (Stan) Makowski, Jenny (Bill) Leisner, Vickie (Steve) Jankovich, and Rinnie Meyer, her brothers: Tom (Vickie) Giurlani, Jim Salo, her sister: Kathleen (Jimmer) Gill, her grandchildren: Shelby, Peyton, Brandon, Sydney, Billy, Hadley, Breana, Jesse, Anthony, Giordani and Elly, and many nieces and nephews. All Debbie's Family will genuinely cherish her memory.
Debbie was preceded in death by her daughter Kelly O'Toole, her mother Marilyn (Ray) Salo, her father Leonard Giurlani and her brother Larry Giurlani.
The Meyer Family wishes to thank all of Debbie's family & friends for their prayers and condolences.
The visitation for Debbie will be at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Rd. in McHenry, IL on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Her inurnment is scheduled for 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Woodland Cemetery in McHenry. Everyone may gather near the gazebo at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Home of the Sparrow, 4209 W. Shamrock Ln., Unit B, McHenry, IL 60050 (www.hosparrow.org)
