The years have gone by and Debbie is one person who I still remember for her sweet spirit and smiles. The color I think of her is yellow, she was always smiling, nice and gentle to everyone she met. Eddie I know she will be a great loss for you and your daughter and her grandchildren. Losing a loved one is never easy. But yellow is comfort and may the heavenly Father offer to you all peace and comfort to your souls and when you hurt may he comfort your hearts and souls. Amen she is with Jesus! Monica, Eddie, Cam and grandchildren, Debbie was a great friend who played the piano at my funeral home in Jackson many times. She had such a vibrant personality and all of us here dearly loved her. She would always come early for a service so we could visit and talk. We remember the first time we met was at a party for you and Cam before you got married. It was at Debbie and Eddie's home. Monica, you are to be commended for the loving care you gave your mama during her illness. We love all of you. Rick, Lynda, Doug and everyone here at the funeral home.

Eddie, Monica, Cam and Family:

No words can express my sadness over losing such a special person. Her family and friends absolutely loved her sweet, happy and sharing personality. One call to Debbie, and she would be there in an instant to be your support and friend - no matter what the circumstance. Even if I had not seen her in awhile, it was like we never missed a beat in our friendship - back to the old days and sharing memories.

Debbie will always be close to all of us and peeking down on us with that precious smile.

I will truly miss you Debbie,

Dear Eddie, Monica, and family. I am so saddened by your loss. Debbie was a very special person. She had the heart of God. She always loved and cared about others. Every Christmas and birthday I would get a card from her. Most birthdays she would call me and sing, "Happy Birthday" to me. She would always sing the entire song and she called me BrendER, never Brenda. She always made me feel loved and important. I don't believe I ever heard her say anything negative about anyone. We worked together in church for many years. She would play the play the piano and I would lead singing. What a beautiful gift she had. I always enjoyed working with her. I know you are going to miss her dearly, I will too, she was my friend!

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.

Debbie has been a friend since high school. She was always the nicest person and had a sweet spirit. I will remember sitting on the piano bench with her one day at my church. She was playing that day and we laughed and did the usual remember the days when we went to school. I didn't get to see her very often but when we did see each other, there was always a hug and how is the family doing. I will miss her smile and remember her with much love. My prayers will be for Eddie and Monica and family.
