Deborah Krewko Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 6, 2012.
PLAINVILLE - Deborah ‘Debbie’ A. Krewko, 58 of Plainville passed away suddenly at home on Monday, November 5th, 2012. She was the wife of Aleksander T. Krewko; mother to Stephen Krewko and his wife April Krewko of Colorado Springs, CO and Jennifer Krewko of Charleston, SC. Debbie was born on August 3rd, 1954 to the late Edward and Barbara (McGrath) O’Neil formerly of Dedham.

Grandmother to Liam Krewko, Leah and Alan Hoffman of Colorado Springs, CO; great aunt to Christian and Dylan Bouvier of Burrillville, RI; and a grandma to her beloved granddog Koby; sister to Edward O’Neil of Randolph, Michael O’Neil of Roxbury and Peter O’Neil of Dedham; sister-in-law to Maria and Scott Boulet of North Attleboro, Paul and Lisa Krewko of Plainville, and Peter Krewko and Jose Cruz of Vallejo, CA; cousin to Pamela Tobichuk of Mansfield; most cherished aunt to Anna (Boulet) Gauthier of Burrillville, RI, Joseph Krewko of Plainville, Stacey Zonfrillo of North Attleboro and Olivia Boulet of North Attleboro.

Debbie worked for years at Mike’s Donuts in North Attleboro cheerfully serving up coffee and a cheerful word to all. She continued to work there after it became Dunkin Donuts. She then moved on to Southwood Community Hospital in Norfolk working there until it’s closure. She worked at Jockey International at the Wrentham Outlet Malls until she became ill.

Debbie will be remembered as everyone’s aunt. She was quick to smile and give a hug. She was well loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing her. She was empathetic to all around her and was always willing to listen. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Many of us can remember having to visit the emergency room at Southwood Community Hospital and Debbie would be there. She was like an emotional rock. She would be bright and happy and would help alleviate our fears. You knew you were okay when you saw Debbie. The fighting Irish was displayed in her spirit. She had a zest for life and a great ability to love life and those around her. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She rests now with the angels. Please join all that knew and loved her in a celebration of her life. A wake will be held at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street North Attleboro on Friday November 9th, 2012 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and again in the evening from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.

A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00am at Saint Mary Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. To sign an online guestbook for Debbie, please visit www.sperry-mchoul.com.

So sad to hear about Debbie's passing. Our parents were good friend way back in the day so I must say I have known her my whole life. As children we lived next door and than as time went on we all moved away. Whenever I saw her years later she always had that beautiful smile and a happy heart. I know she will be missed by many who loved her. Gone to soon, prayers for her family.

Al, Steve and Jen,
Anyone that knew Debbie loved her. She was one very special lady, she had the knack of making anyone smile with her outgoing personality. I recall seeing her at everyone of her kids sports activity cheering them on, She loved her family and enjoyed living and making everyone happy . There is another true angel gone but up in heaven watching down on all she loved. May you keep all those wonderful memories in your hearts and minds. Our deepest sympathy. Dennis and Donna Laverty

Uncle Al, Steve and Jen. I will miss Auntie Debbie's love for life. She was such an out going person and always made me laugh when I was having a crappy day. I will miss doing her hair every 5 weeks. I can hear her right now saying make sure you get the sides colored so I dont have to come back in 3 weeks. I will hold all my memories of her close to my heart. She is probably looking down on us while dancing and being the life of the party that she always was. Rest easy Auntie Debbie till we meet again. xoxo

Was a pleasure knowing Debbie. She was a wonderful woman! Always sharing her big hugs when I saw her.. and taking my daughter under her wing at the outlets.. She was her work mom and always took care of her. That's just the way she was. Always so caring and selfless.
Will miss you Deb.
My sincere heartfelt condolences to her husband and children, who she always talked about with a twinkle in her eye.

This should make you smile:)

So sorry for your loss. I knew Debbie way back when, we were only kids, about 10-13 years old. As an adult I moved to North Attleboro and ran into her a few years back at the Outlets. It was like we never lost touch. Such a loss. And also, my the way, she pierced my ears with an icecube and sewing needle. I will never forget that!
My prayers are with her family and hoping they will find peace knowing that Debbie is now with the angels above watching over her family.
