Lynch and Standfast families have shared Christmas cards each year. We recently received the Lynch Christmas card and Jack informed us about Debbie.
Our prayers are for the family that are enduring this time in their life. Jack said, that now Debbie is one of Gods special angels. 1st Thessalonians 4:18 (KJV) says;
"Wherefore comfort one another with these words."
We are all blessed to have Debbie in our life. She always had a smile on her face, she still does.

Though I have not been in contact with Debbie for many years, I have many wonderful memories of times spent with her during high school. I enjoyed her energy on our cheerleading squad, and her beautiful vocal performances in our school plays. Her vivacious personality and enthusiasm for life were shared with all. I offer my condolences to her family and friends, and pray for her eternal rest.

When I received the news of Debbie's passing I was listening to Bruce Springsteens"Glory Days" I will always remember Debbie as my high school classmate. She had a great smile and her laugh could be heard down the halls. I'm sorry she didn't get to complete her journey in life. Help her complete the journey by living life to the fullest. God Bless.

Jack, Garrett and Caitlin…I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. It was such an honor to know Debbie. I enjoyed speaking to her every morning when she would call in to let us know where she would be working for the day. Throughout her most difficult times Debbie’s spirit and strength was admirable and inspirational. She was hard working, beautiful, smart, and valued her family most of all. She made everyone feel loved.

My deepest sympathies to Debbie's husband and children, and to Mr. and Mrs. Sacco. Debbie was the first friend I made when I moved to Rockaway and attended St. Cecilia School in 4th Grade. She welcomed the "new girl" in town into her circle of friends with a big warm heart and smile. I will always remember her beautiful voice and our duet together on Christmas Eve at Midnight Mass in 8th Grade. Debbie is now able to see her brothers again up in heaven. God bless her family. It was a privilege to meet Debbie almost twenty years ago (in West Park, NY) — such a warmly engaging young woman, devoted wife to Jack, and caring mom to Garrett and Caitlin. More recently, I supportively followed reports of Debbie’s odyssey as she found new resources and dimensions in her life in order to face the challenges to her journey. To Jack and family, condolences and best wishes as you seek strength and renewed hope in this time of great loss. To Debbie, “In paradisum deducant te angeli.”

I have never met anyone quite like Debbie. She had a beautiful laugh. I had the pleasure of serving with her on the Randolph PTA. Hers was the voice of wisdom, reason and common sense. When she had something to say she always added value to a conversation. Since my children were younger than hers, I so appreciated hearing her insights. May she rest in peace.

To the Sacco and Lynch Families:
No words can express my feelings at this moment. Debbie and I grew up together and spent many nights talking about our future and how wonderful they would be. I remember when she met Jack and how loving and excited she was. Jack you were a very special man and I hope all of your beautiful memories help you through this difficult time. My prayers are with you and Garrett and Caitlin, and to my other family Ma and Pa Sacco as you will find peace in all the beautiful memories you have shared and knowing she had many friends whose lives she has touched with her love and tender heart. She is loved by many and will be missed considerably.

I met Debbie in 1977. She was the Manager for the boys department and it was my very first job in the girls department. Debbie always amazed me with her work ethics and her caring ways. If you needed to talk Debbie was the one who listened. I was always Mrs, Scoop to her. A Christmas didn't go bye without her Christmas cookies and her thoughtful gifts. Will miss you Debbie, My love goes out to you Jack, Garrett, and Caitlin, and the rest of the family. Mrs. Scoop
