Dempsy and I were friends at the VA.
I've been away for 10 years and had lost contact with him. I'm sorry to hear about his passing. He always had a smile on his face and a wicked sense of humor. A true intellectual.
I'd llike to extend my condolences to his family.

I am writing this note on behalf of my father-in-law (Jerry Covington) who wanted to express his sympathy. He is the son of the late Woodrow Covington and lives in Daleville, MS. He has great memories of turkey hunting with Dempsey's Dad.
