Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his daughters and Tom, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the age of 78 years. Dennis was born in England to Thomas and Betty Bailey, he came to Canada at the age of two. He worked as a Truck Driver for over 40 years at Al's Cartage and retired after four years from Bell Cartage. He enjoyed family gatherings, dancing, watching sports, attending air shows, and having a Labatt's Blue beer at the end of the day. Beloved husband of the late June Bailey (nee Chard). Loving father of Valerie Tracey (Dwayne) of Kitchener, Patricia Podann (David) of Platsville and Linda Wallace (Scott) of Cambridge. Cherished Grandfather of Darcy Bailey, Chantelle Tomlinson, Jeremy Bailey, William Bailey, Ashley and David (Jr) Podann, Cody, Dallas and Breckin Turton, Tyler and Cody Wallace. Proud great grandpa of Chester and Ariel Bailey, Landan Wilhelm, Autumn and Alaina Evoy, Kya, Emilie, Derek, Ryker Bailey, Kyleigh Dubrick, Hailey Podann, Faith Yule , Wyatt Dobbin and Draven Turton. Dear brother of the late Roy Bailey (Valerie), John Clark (Janette) and Kathy Benner (Brian). Dennis will be missed by many, especially by his long-time roommate, Tom Lucin who was his friend for over 35 years. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place December 9th 7 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 655 Wabanaki Dr, Kitchener. Donation(s) may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre as expressions of sympathy. I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Denny´s passing . Not a single childhood memory without him and Aunt June in it . I haven´t seen much of any of you since my dad´s death but have thought of you all many times . Sending much love to Valerie , Trisha and Linda and the rest of your family .
