Derek MERRILL Obituary
December 24, 1933 – London, England
March 19, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta
We are saddened to announce the passing of our friend and neighbour, Derek J. Merrill on March 19, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Derek was born in London, England and moved to Canada in the 1950's. He loved to spend time with friends and loved ones and enjoyed playing crib, curling and snooker. Derek will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. Thank you to all who cared for Derek in his final days, especially to the amazing staff at Southwood Hospice. In living memory of Derek Merrill, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of Derek. I remember him when I was a child taking me for a milkshake, and the beautiful garden he kept on Elbow Drive. Condolences to friends and family.
