Dear friends and family, I know Dessa through my mother, Marlene Clinard as part of the weekly HFBC volunteering to "tab" the newsletters. She always brightened my heart, helped cheer me on through my bachelor's program and any other "stuff" as she was such a wonderful listener and full of wise counsel. I was blessed when she sent me off to a 2004 India Mission trip with HFBC by hand crafting the most beautiful crosses to hand out to the children over there. They would pray with them in their hands and the men would wear them on their shirt pocket. Dessa was thrilled as I was sure to take pictures of her influence across the globe. My prayers and thoughts are with your family as I dearly remember her sweetness. I am so blessed and a better person for knowing her!

Dear Liz and Richard and your families,
All my memories of Dessa include her servant heart. She was always doing something for someone else! I treasure every moment we shared as we "raised" our girls (and, of course, boys) and the years since. She was my long time dearest friend and I will miss her but will always remember all the things we did together over the years.
