With a heavy heart we announce our beloved Diana Muzzo has passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. A huge void will now be in our family and countless other people's lives she affected. She was truly one of a kind with the biggest heart of any of us. Sometimes in life you are lucky enough to meet someone who walks into a room with light and love around them. The beautiful matriarch of that family had that undoubtedly. She made anyone she met feel happy and comfortable. Always taking care. She was an amazing soul who touched so many lives. I'm so sorry to hear about the loss and I wish her family love and support. Goodbye Diana you Angel.

I worked with Diana on 6 east at the Holy Cross Hospital and that was 40 years ago. The reason I remember her, is because she was so memorable. We had so much fun (too much fun)She continuously talked about Nick and how in love she was. What a legacy she has left on this earth as I view the photos. My sincere sympathy Nick and family. Dear Nick and family...Sorry to hear of Diana's passing. I have very fond memories of Diana during the years at the hockey arenas. She was always such a positive roll model to all the players and other parents. I got such a kick out of her "cheerleading". she sure knew how to get us all into the team spirit! May you rest in peace Diana. Sincerely Barbara Wallace and the Spence family.

Auntie Marian and family, Nick and family,

It is sad to see that we have lost Diana to her illness, she has been a fighter and her strong will and perseverance will forever be remembered. I grew up in Edmonton, and our family always liked going south to Calgary to visit our cousins. Diana for sure had the biggest, brightest, most cheerful personality you can imagine. Later when I moved to Calgary to start my family I would sometimes run into her in the Hockey arenas and you always new who she was there for, she cheered loud and hard. Thanks for all the memories Diana, this part of you we get to keep forever. Now you get to continue your sharp wit and bubbly self with your Dad. We will miss you!
Sincerely, Bev and Will Yakymyshyn

It was such an honour to know you and will always cherish the great memories with you and your family.
Mr. Muzzo, Chrissy, Roberto, Kalisa, Tony and family, I send my love and deepest sympathy. May your memories of your amazing Princess Diana keep you strong. She will remain in our hearts forever. She was truly an angel.

My dear Auntie,

You have always been so special to me. I can't even begin to describe how sad I am you are gone. The family will feel so empty without you. You had the biggest heart and were such a joy to be around. I will think about you often and remember you forever. You inspire me to be more loving, giving and accepting. Say hi to Grandpa for me. Love you so much!

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

Some of my fondest memories of Diane were my baseball years.with her sister Coleen as pitcher, me as the back catcher, her father as the coach, Diane was our biggest cheerleader. She never missed a game. With family she was just the same, always positive no matter what the situation was and filled the room with so much joy and laughter. I will miss you greatly and will forever be grateful that you were a part of my life. Gone but never forgotten.

January 31, 2015

I was shocked to find out about Diane's passing. Although I haven't seen her in many years I will always remember her warmth and sense of humour. We had many good times together and I will always remember her fondly.

Auntie,

We are at such a loss without you. Your constant positivity, laughter, perseverance and acceptance of others made you such a staple in our family.

There are so many memories that flood my mind. I will miss the “hi sweetheart” greetings, the jokes that made us laugh every single time (“WANNA BUY A DUCK?” and the paper birdies – that was some magic), the story of Leo's bomber jacket, your sour cream cake that Uncle ate, and all of the family get togethers that always left us with some crazy story to tell later.

Thank you for bringing comfort to my family when we needed it the most. You made sure to always pass along your dreams no matter how heavy they weighed on your heart. You truly are a special spirit. I am so grateful to have been loved by you.

Love you always and forever.

Melissa.

Hi Auntie, I just wanted to say thank you for all the jokes and memories that made us laugh over the years, and for sharing your "dreams" that saved my family at our most desperate moments. For without you our hearts would have never began to heal and it made it a little easier knowing that Leo was okay. It's comforting knowing that you are with all of our loved ones making them laugh and that you are bringing them just as much happiness in heaven as you did for us on earth. Love you always and forever, Michele Matchett.
