Diane Alice Hassett, of Madison, WI, and La Quinta, CA, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, at the age of 84, surrounded by loved ones. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Diane brought warmth, kindness, and joy to everyone in her presence.

Born in Milwaukee, WI, to Henry and Alice (Skinner) Stadelmann, Diane cherished music, humor, and ongoing education. She earned a Journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she met her husband, Rodney. Married for 62 years, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. Diane was a proud and devoted mother to Dawnene (Chris Hegna), Daniel (Mary Bell Hassett), and Kevin Henry, and a loving grandmother to Tyler and Natalie Rose (Wes Raney).

Diane's compassion, curiosity, and radiant spirit made her an irreplaceable presence in the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
