I am grateful that my niece was blessed with such a wonderful grandfather. Among Mitch's greatest legacies are the memories and love shared by Katie and her Didi. These live on forever.

Tara, We all have such wonderful memories of Mitch, we will miss him dearly. The Sunday afternoons at Bobbi's, would eventually lead the younger generation to Uncle Pete's, Aunt Mary's, "Little" Joe, and Mitch's house. There we would enjoy and truly share, the love of the family and one another. Mitch was always there for you, no matter what. It has been said so many times, you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your relatives......in this case, we were all "blessed" to have had Mitch, he was the best. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and the Macks, at this time.
With all our Love and Sympathy,

I had worked with Di for over 20 years, having retired this past June. It saddened me to hear of his passing, Both he, and his late wife were kind, generous and warm people. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing them was truly lucky.
Rest well my friend.

Tara I am praying for you, your daughter & the Macks. I have so many found memories of Mitch. We spent our childhood together between his house & Bobbie's. When we got to college age we saw each other on special occassions. I've never seen anyone who had a negative comment about him-his presence would light up the room,& the jokes would fly. I will miss him .

I was so shocked to hear of Mitch's passing.
I have many great childhood memories being a part of St. Nicholas Junior R Club. Mitch and Barbara were such a big part of my upbringing.
I will say a prayer and light some candles in my church in CT this weekend.

I would like to express my sincere sympathy to my childhood friend Tara and her family. I am very shocked and saddened to hear about Mitch's death. He truly was always a kind, caring and wonderful person throughout the many years that I was very close his family as a young girl. Although I haven't seen him in many years~ I will never forget his kindness and genorosity. I will always cherish my memories of him. May God bless and watch over his family. You are in our thoughts and prayers!

D,
We did not always agree on the best way to remodel an office or sometimes the sequence of steps needed to get there, but together we did a lot of good things, didn’t we?
In case you didn’t know through-out the years or in case I failed to convey the sentiment:
You are the consummate professional, the kindest of people, the gentlest of men.
Your skill, your keen, dry sense of humor have made all of our work projects that much more special, and now precious that you have gone on.
Thank you for being part of our lives.
Godspeed, my friend.

To Tara, Katie, Mr. & Mrs. Mack and other family members-
Paul & I send our deepest condolences to you upon your loss of Mitch. Mitch was a true friend, and a big teddy bear to our children growing up. He was warm, affable and always had a quiet smile on his face.
Barb's and his relationship with our beloved brother-in-law up until the time of his passing was a real testament to the meaning of friendship. They were right by his side at all times.
To you, Mitch-
Paul and I could see you never got over your loss of Barb. Your love for her transcended the void over the years from the time of her death. We take much comfort in realizing you are reunited with her again.
Your friends and loved ones will miss you. You gave so much of yourself to everyone. It is with a deep sense of sadness that we feel "our" loss. However, we know you are now at your happiest, rejoined with the love of your life. Vechnya Pamyat!

he was a very dear friend and such a good person
he was so good to our children in the junior r club so many years ago
we had such good times having coffee while the kids were in sunday school we got so used to seeing him at church we took his time with us for granted
lets learn from this and not take the time we have with each other for granted any more
lets cherish each and every moment together
we are thankfull for the times and memories we did have with mitch
and with barb
