DOLORES ALLEN POZZI

VICTORIA - Dolores Allen Pozzi, known as Nana by friends and family, is celebrating the gift of eternal life peacefully with her savior as of Nov. 2, 2008. A gift from God, she was born on April 10, 1929, in Denver, to loving parents, Edwin Ryan Allen and Hilda Dies Allen. She was married to her childhood sweetheart, Clarence "C.L." Pozzi for 58 wonderful years. Together they raised four children, Wayne married to Kelly, Ricci married to Sharon, Randy married to Denise, and Debra married to Tommy Gardner.
Waiting to welcome Nana are her loving husband C.L.; her son, Ricci; her father, Edwin; her mother, Hilda; and her sister, Violet Taylor.
Our beloved Nana found the joy of her life in her children, 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren: Aaron Pozzi; Ashley and Melvin Taylor and children Aaron and Sydney; Kristy and Steven Ondrias and children Kaselyn and Layton; Ricci and Tammy Pozzi and children C.J. and Addison; Kasey and Bryan Willingham; Brenham Pozzi; Ryan Pozzi; Brittany and Doug Pharr; Brooke Pozzi; Will Gardner; Andrew Gardner; and her best four-legged friend, Sissi.
Nana is also loved by her brother, Bob Allen and family; sister, JoAnn Hansen and family, Liz and Nicky Huff and their three children, Nicole Mitchell, Justin and Jason Huff and families, and Joyce Taylor.
From crayons to Christians, she taught us how to love one another, support each other, cook, clean, and be the best we can be at everything we do - she was our rock! We have become business owners, world champions, Longhorns, Mustangs, and wonderful parents all due to her guidance and support.
From her family and friends, "We will miss your beautiful smile, your unconditional love, your courage and your strength. Nana, the world has truly lost a wonderful person while heaven has gained a gorgeous angel. We will love you always and will see you again one day."
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, Nov 5, 2008 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, 3304 Mockingbird Lane, in Victoria.
A celebration of Nana's life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008 at Fellowship Bible Church, 3401 N. Ben Jordan, in Victoria, the Rev. Mike Malone officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Bill Pozzi, Aaron Pozzi, Ricci Pozzi, C.J. Pozzi, Will Gardner, Steven Ondrias, Bryan Willingham, Doug Pharr, Melvin Taylor, Dusty Beyer, and Darryl Matejek.
Honorary pallbearers: Bob Allen; Andrew and Tommy Gardner; Brenham, Donald Pozzi and Ryan Pozzi; Nicky, Jason and Justin Huff; Bobbie Butchee; Tom Reese; Bobby Ricks; Ralph Martignoni; Mike Mitchamore; James Taylor and Marty Beyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Dolores to Fellowship Bible Church, 3401 N. Ben Jordan, Victoria, Texas 77901.
