Hi Dad,

I just wanted to thank you for my concrete work - my patio looks great. I know you can see it and are happy with the turnout. Dave had a great idea to make a flower box around it, we were all very happy and a little surprised it turned out that well.

A lot has happened since you left but I know you have been with us along the way. Aimee's wedding was beautiful, I don't think there's ever been a more beautiful bride. I know you were there and helped things go smoothly, and being you love the heat I'm sure you helped out there too...just remember in the future though - we don't like the heat as much as you did...j/k.

Today I washed the windows with the vinegar you bought last year. I could hear your voice and you shaking your head that vinegar isn't supposed to be used for windows...and then in that funny voice you said "is my beaner becoming domesticated?!" I miss that voice but can hear it in my head. Keep sending the messages and keep guiding me along the way you always have.

I love you and miss you so much.

Happy Father's Day Dad!

I miss you so much. There was still so much that I wanted to do with you, and so much that I wanted to talk to you about! However I am still talking, and I know you are listening. Hope you are golfing today!

Love,

Carrie

Jan

Thirteen years have past since seeing Don, a few less since talking to him. His passing is as if I saw him yesterday.

Few people have meant so much to me as you and Don.

God Bless Don, you and the kids. You all will remain in my prayers.
